Gunnersbury Museum Visit
On Friday 8th November, Year 3 went on a trip to Gunnersbury Park and Museum to take part in a 'Stone Age Survival' workshop. The children had lots of hunting and throwing 'spears' at a wild boar! They also got to look at and handle different artefacts ffrom the Stone Age and built their own Mesolithic houses from wood and animal skins.
Year 3 also got to explore Gunnersbury Museum to find out about local history and they had fun trying on lots of old style clothes! We had a great day and it was a great culmination of our learning about the Stone Age.
