St. George’s Parish, Sudbury

The school has well established links with the Parish church of St. George’s and the Parish priest Monsignor Jeremy Fairhead is a great source of support to our school.

He is actively involved in the strategic work of our school, seeking to help shape long term aims and goals, sitting on the Local Governing Board.  Monsignor Jeremy and our assistant priests play an active role in the spiritual development of our pupils – this is through celebration of both whole school and house saints masses, visits to classrooms and active support and participation in events during the liturgical year.

The priests of our Parish are frequent and welcome visitors to the school, meeting with staff and pupils – thereby really knowing the community of children and families that St. George’s School serves.

St. George’s Parish is a vibrant, multicultural community of faith centred on our church which is a real house of prayer. Whether you are a long-standing member of the parish or you have just arrived, we hope you will find what you are looking for on our website and we welcome your comments.
